Ingredients
Method
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and place parchment paper onto a baking pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine butter and both sugars, mixing until smooth and very well combined (about 5 minutes).
- Add in peanut butter, egg and vanilla extract, combining well.
- Add in dry ingredients and mix until no lumps.
- Fold in Homemade Chocolate Chips until well combined.
- Place the bowl in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Remove bowl from the refrigerator, using a 2 tablespoon scoop, create balls of dough and place them on a baking sheet. Space them about 2 inches apart and staggered on the pan (2 in first row, three in next row, 2 in next row, until pan full)
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes and until golden around the edges.
- Remove from the oven, let rest on the pan for 2 minutes and then remove from the pan and place on the cooling rack.
- Store in an airtight container when completely cooled.
Notes
When cookies are removed from the oven, they will appear to be undercooked in the center.
