Method
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- In a mixing bowl, slightly beat eggs.
- Then add butter, corn syrup, vanilla extract, sugar and salt.
- Mix well.
- Stir in pecan halves and then pour into an unbaked pastry shell.
- Bake for 45 to 50 minutes or until a knife inserted into the filling comes out clean.
- Allow to cool for at least 2 hours on a cooling rack and refrigerate any leftovers.
