Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup of softened butter
  • ½ cup of peanut butter
  • ¼ cup of granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup of brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ¼ cups of all purpose flour
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Cream together softened butter, peanut butter, sugars, egg and vanilla.
  3. Blend dry ingredients into the creamy mixture.
  4. Shape dough into 1 inch balls and roll in granulated sugar.
  5. Place two inches apart on a greased baking pan and criss cross with fork tines.
  6. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
  7. Cool slightly on pan before moving to the cooling rack.
  8. Store in an air tight container.
