Ingredients
Method
- Preheat the oven to 350˚. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine butter and sugars until mixed well.
- Next add in egg, egg yolk and vanilla extract, mix well.
- In a bowl, combine flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Whisk together to combine.
- Add dry ingredients to the mixing bowl, combine well.
- Fold in cream cheese chips. Place dough in the fridge for one hour.
- Scoop balls of dough and place them 2 inches apart on a lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove the pan from the oven and let it sit on the pan for 5 minutes.
- Remove from pan and allow to cool on a cooling rack.
- Store in an airtight container.
- Notes:
- For a holiday twist, melt some dipping chocolate in a bowl and dip the bottom of the baked cookie into the chocolate. Place on wax paper to dry.
