Method
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
- Prepare cookie dough per the website recipe, omitting the chocolate chips.
- Shape the peanut butter cookie dough into 1 inch balls and place on a parchment lined baking pan. Do not criss cross the cookies with a fork like normal, leave them in balls to bake.
- While cookies are baking, unwrap the Kisses Candy Cane Candies.
- Bake the cookies for 12 minutes. Remove cookies to the cooling rack.
- While the cookies are warm and just starting to cool, place one Kisses Candy Cane in the center of each cookie. Each candy piece will melt slightly from the heat of the cookie but will maintain shape.
- Let the cookies sit until both the cookie and candy have cooled.
- Store in an airtight container to contain freshness.
Notes
If you do not like the minty flavor of the Candy Cane Kisses, please feel free to use the flavor of kisses that you love.
