Pecan Balls

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup of softened butter
  • 2 T granulated sugar
  • 1 cup of all purpose flour
  • 1 heaping cup of chopped pecans
  • ¼ t salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 275 degrees.
  2. Cream together butter, sugar and flour until smooth.
  3. Fold in pecans and salt and stir until combined.
  4. The mixture will be crumbly but will stick to itself.
  5. Roll the dough into ½ in small balls and place onto an ungreased baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes.
  7. Let cool completely on the baking sheet before transferring to an airtight container.
